What about protection for audiovisual performers? The WIPO Beijing Treaty adopted on June 24, 2012 recognises performers’ rights in their audio-visual performances (i.e. films, TV programs and multimedia) and gives them moral rights and economic rights – including the exclusive rights of reproduction, distribution, rental and making available of fixed performance.
