Is there any apps that can overlay a grainy screen? I have seen Mac programs that overlay a dimmer. I suspect if you can overlay a grainy film on iPhone plus addition of an anti-glare or Paperlike screen protector you can probably replicate eink fairly well (+ Color Filters + Reduce White Point).

Mon Apr 27, 2020 7:56 am. Hi. I've just finished a 1 minute film shot on the BMPCC4k but on a 1080 timeline, and its got lots of grain as I was going for that style. It looks awful on Youtube, the grain is barely noticeable, it just looks bad quality! Link at the bottom of this post...very noticeable on the shot at 15 seconds of swimming.
