Mon Apr 27, 2020 7:56 am. Hi. I've just finished a 1 minute film shot on the BMPCC4k but on a 1080 timeline, and its got lots of grain as I was going for that style. It looks awful on Youtube, the grain is barely noticeable, it just looks bad quality! Link at the bottom of this post...very noticeable on the shot at 15 seconds of swimming.

BMPCC 6K Raw footage very noisy. I find that whenever I surpass ISO 200, the image starts to get a lot of noise in shadow area. This is very apparent when I look at my false color on set, there are grainy dots jumping around even at Light Green false color. I'm shooting with 24-105mm Canon lens at f4.0, with two Aputure 300X lighting the subject.

Re: video quality is fuzzy after rendering. Tue Aug 11, 2020 11:45 pm. You should not render at less than the original footage bitrate. I shoot 1080 50fps footage at 35Mbps and would not render at less than this. A low bitrate will introduce artifacts in h264 material. When rendering try setting the bitrate using the Restrict To setting.

Noise after green screen removal. When I remove a green screen using either 3D Keyer, or Delta Keyer, there is terrible noise all overt the screen, not just in the area where the green screen covered. (The green screen did not cover all of the frame as I shot against a side wall which was not covered by the green screen).
