I use platform for the first serve, pinpoint for the second. Easier to aim a flat serve with the simpler platform stance. With a kick serve accuracy isn't too important--using the pinpoint stance exploding into the brushup produces heavy topspin which keeps the ball in play while generating a high bounce and heavy ball.
