Is Uplearn worth it? - The Student Room

Has anyone used Uplearn for A-Levels…did it ACTUALLY guarantee you an A/A*? Never used it but one A/A* is not worth £2000 really. The only case I could see for using it is if you're at A*AD or something similar and need to boost that D in order to get oxbridge. Otherwise I wouldn't bother spending that much.

im in year 13, i regret not using uplearn for economics because my economics teacher is very bad. i tried out the demo and genuinely see the benefits. past papers, videos, genuinely engaging and I can see my self bashing a few questions out every day.

DD is resitting two of her A'levels and plans to use e-learning platform UpLearn to help get her grades up. She's going to use it initially for Maths then if it works for her, upgrade for Physics. Does anyone have any experience of their kids using it? And if so, what were the results?

Uplearn was a bit time consuming and at times not good enough. I used it for economics and psychology. If anything Econplusdal is what you need!!! No, I feel so bad for asking for my mum to buy it. I used bursary money and honestly it was a huge waste. From what I hear it isn't worth it and tbh £369 seems way too much to spend on an online tutor.

Any experience with an 'Uplearn' subscription to help with A Levels? My Dd has put this on her Christmas wish list. I had a quick look and see it's an online revision subscription with a hefty price tag that is only available for some subjects/exam boards. It also guarantees an A/A* It's either a rip off con trick or something amazing!
