BetaThe advantage of platform is it helps you keep your body coiled and it keeps things a little more simple. The ability to jump from both stances may be a personal preference, platform offers balance, pinpoint a little more hip. Being self taught I chose platform for its simplicity, and seeing that Federer used it, I assumed it was perfectly viable.
