The ++ operator does not do any of this the only benifit of it is typing 1 less character on your keyboard which imo is not enough to justify the addition of piece of syntax to a language. Also iirc adding it would also go against one of the orginial design principals of python so gl getting the creator of python to approve it but that is another rabbit hole.
