When I look at photos from my new mirrorless Canon R6 Mark II vs. my old DSLR Canon 6D the images from the R6 are terribly dirty and 'digital' looking, especially when zoomed in, even just a little!? I understand that ISO and light plays a huge part of whether a photo is grainy or not, and that is NOT the solution to my inquiry.

Apparently there is a panel lottery going on here. Some panels are pristine while some are grainy. Some people speculate it may be due to tandem oled alignment but I'm waiting for someone to actually make a proper investigation on what exactly is going on. That said, if I get a grainy screen I'm 100% asking for a replacement.

I think you can buy some high quality filters that emulate the digital look, that might fix the grain issue you're having. That's not grain. Your eyeballs are getting all crusty from the radiation. Get out of here, stalker. It’s because of radiation.

Is the screen grainy on everything or just on certain images? Like if you go to view a dark image in the browser, can you see it there, or just on some images on the iPad? If that makes any sense. Do you have a different iPad on which to compare the same images? Mine comes today.

I have tried printing on glossy, semi-gloss, luster, and matte paper only to have all prints grainy (almost pixelated). I shoot 1080 50fps footage at 35Mbps and would not render at less than this. A low bitrate will introduce artifacts in h264 material. When rendering try setting the bitrate using the Restrict To setting.
