Mon Apr 27, 2020 7:56 am. Hi. I've just finished a 1 minute film shot on the BMPCC4k but on a 1080 timeline, and its got lots of grain as I was going for that style. It looks awful on Youtube, the grain is barely noticeable, it just looks bad quality! Link at the bottom of this post...very noticeable on the shot at 15 seconds of swimming.

yep, 6800xt here and im having the same issue as the video you linked and that OP posted along with the same flickering textures on my riders gear when dirt gets overlayed ontop of it. ive also noticed horrible performance once this started happening as well to where my old gtx 970 outperformed my 6800xt. the game is nearly unplayable when there is more than 4-5 people on screen at the same time

BMPCC 6K Raw footage very noisy. I find that whenever I surpass ISO 200, the image starts to get a lot of noise in shadow area. This is very apparent when I look at my false color on set, there are grainy dots jumping around even at Light Green false color. I'm shooting with 24-105mm Canon lens at f4.0, with two Aputure 300X lighting the subject.

My standard advice in such cases: export your film in a mezzanine codec, like Cineform or DNxHD/HR and do the encoding in Handbrake (free) with a high bitrate as recommended by Charles. Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
