Is there any apps that can overlay a grainy screen? I have seen Mac programs that overlay a dimmer. I suspect if you can overlay a grainy film on iPhone plus addition of an anti-glare or Paperlike screen protector you can probably replicate eink fairly well (+ Color Filters + Reduce White Point).

It’s most noticeable at mid brightnesses on gray/muted colours and looks like a photo taken with high ISO/lots of film grain but very fine.
