Is there any apps that can overlay a grainy screen? I have seen Mac programs that overlay a dimmer. I suspect if you can overlay a grainy film on iPhone plus addition of an anti-glare or Paperlike screen protector you can probably replicate eink fairly well (+ Color Filters + Reduce White Point).

This is possibly related to some other OFX bugs users are reporting, in my case Filmconvert Nitrate's grain overlay controls also doesn't display correctly (i.e controls are upside down). My test project ->Mac OS, UHD, 29.97fps, Prores 422 footage, colour grading applied, automated subtitles applied.
